Members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum as part of their annual reunion. Mary Moore of the 1950 Springfield Sallies holds up one of her baseball cards while at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Moore is from Lincoln Park Michigan and suffered a hand injury in 1951 that hampered her season with Battle Creek. The second baseman returned in 1952 and suffered a  career-ending ankle injury.

Artist Kurt Gohde, professor of art, and Kremena Todorova, assistant professor of English, both of Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, visited Hartwick College last week to work with students on the creation and installation of a temporary wheat paste mural applied to the Anderson Center for the Arts. The mural will be on display until it disolves via natural causes, such as rain in six to eight months.
